TIPS FOR PRESENTATION SKILLS

November 21, 2018 by Lisa McDonald

We know how to learn however do you know how to teach? Most real estate agents are actually training every day without even realizing it. You are an instructor from listing presentations, educating your client on pricing strategy to assisting your buyers in understanding affordability and the purchase process. By enhancing your presentation skills you can get your message even more effectively.

TIPS FOR A BETTER PRESENTATION

In order to build, prepare and deliver short presentations that resonate with your audience, you put in mind that an effective presentation has these characteristics:

  • Exemplifies the presenter has sufficient content knowledge and is credible
  • Displays leadership
  • Communicates clearly
  • Brings the learning to life

Also, in order to be more effective, presentations should add relevant information. Be concise, use one example for each point and be compelling.

WHY TRAINING IS IMPORTANT

There are few roles within a company that offer more exciting opportunity to others than that of a trainer/presenter. As Training Magazine’s No. 1training organization in the world, KW knows that it is important to have quality trainers and to have quality programs.

By incorporating exercises, group work and hands-on participation, Keller Williams University’s Train the Presenter course over covers the basics of effective teaching technique and strategies and prepares agents to become a Black Belt in Life.

These are the two-day course that offered multiple times each year at Keller Williams Realty International in Austin, Texas:

  • How to master creating presentation materials
  • How to activate the learning process with activities
  • Tools for creating the learning experience
  • Overcoming challenges such as anxiety, disruptive behavior, and technical difficulties
  • Improving presentation skills
